Autodesk Inventor 2017 – Freeform Modelling Quick Tips

I’ve been doing some freeform modelling in Inventor – creating some nicely ergonomic shapes for furniture….and I thought I’d share a couple of tips I found helpful.
In a nutshell:
Tip 1: Use ‘soft modification’ to get the behaviour you want for rounded edges.
Tip 2: Great method of selecting a range of connected edges (note – this is different from selecting the entire loop of edges).
Tip 3: Be aware of the order of freeform operations.

Check out the video for explanation – and happy freeforming!
