Inventor 2017 – Export an RVT File?

Hello comrades,

If you need to get an RVT (Revit Project) file directly from Inventor, there is a workaround available to do this – simply export an IFC file from Inventor and a matching RVT project file will be placed in your temp location as a by-product. This blog focuses on an iLogic rule that auto-extracts that temp RVT file and places it in a folder of your choice.

Of course this isn’t a substitute for a fully native Revit project file, but you might find a use for this quick utility as part of your BIM collaboration.

See the blog video and the iLogic code here
