Inventor 2017 – Quickly Show an iLogic Form in an Assembly Sub-Component

If you’re working with a lot of iLogic controls in your assemblies you might spend a lot of time dipping into sub-components in assemblies in order to access the iLogic goodness they contain (normally in an iLogic form). I’ve had one too many of those scenarios, so I’m now using a handy iLogic rule from the top level assembly, which prompts me to pick a sub-component, and then opens the iLogic form in it. Of course you have to make sure you’ve got your naming of the form correct and so on, but I thought i’d share it just in case anyone else finds it useful. You can view the instruction video and download the iLogic rule here. Enjoy. Luke
